Eight individual self curated exhibition and work spaces within the gallery.
Working Artists process their own sales with no commission taken by the gallery.
Artists provide their own studio furniture, tools and supplies.
Customers may purchase any artwork in the gallery at any time through each artist’s page on the gallery website and with the assistance of the Working Artist present at that time.
Sales processed by the gallery when an artist is not in their studio retain 10% commission by the gallery and 10% commission by the assisting Working Artist.
Beginning on November 15th, the gallery’s new open hours are 10am to 6pm Tuesday through Saturday, 11am to 5pm on Sunday, closed New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Indigenous Peoples Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
Working Artists staff the gallery each with publicized open hours. Working Artists have gallery access from 8am to 8pm Tuesday through Saturday and 9am to 7pm on Sunday.
The program is promoted through the gallery’s website, Bellows Falls 3rd Friday Gallery Nights, and Vermont Open Studio Weekends Spring & Fall, and regular press releases and email newsletters.
Please maintain studios to be presentable for public viewing:
- Please curate exhibition spaces and keep artwork labeled for sale.
- Please limit personal belongings to work related furniture, art supplies and tools.
- Please furnish cabinets or drawers to keep daily belongings.
- Please hang coats and clothing on the coat rack.
- Please park in the municipal lot at the visitors center to allow parking on Canal street for customers.
- Please no food or eating
- Please no smoking
- Please no audible recorded music
- Please no personal phone calls
- Please no storage in cardboard boxes
- Please no folding plastic tables
- Please no objects on windowsills
- Please hang nothing on support columns
Per-month exhibition fees are as follows:
- Studio 5, $206, 30 square feet, 26 linear wall feet
- Studio 4, $302, 44 square feet, 23 linear wall feet
- Studio 7, $330, 48 square feet, 24 linear wall feet
- Studio 8, $330, 48 square feet, 24 linear wall feet
- Studio 6, $454, 66 square feet, 23.5 linear wall feet
- Studio 2, $358, 52 square feet, 16 linear wall feet
- Studio 1, $440, 64 square feet, 12 linear wall feet
- Studio 3, $465, 67.5 square feet, 17 linear wall feet
