Canal Street Art Gallery is asking for our community to give us direct feedback and testimonials about the gallery, the artwork they’ve loved and purchased and who loves the artwork in its current home.  Please send us pictures of where you have the artwork with the people and pets that love it in the picture too! Show us your pets, your artwork and show us your own creativity in the pictures you submit.

“My legal name is Chase Mickle but my loved ones call me Cosmic Creepers and when I’m mad, I’m often referred to as Licky Von Lick because of my impatient lip licking and back lightning and fierce attitude.  I love to gaze at the yard from my perch on the window, which is adorned by my fabulous artwork from Claire Adams.  The two pieces you can see hanging are from the solo show she had of her reverse painted glass. Bugs are both the bane of my existence and the best entertainment a cat can have.”

This textile was created on commission by Corinne Greenhalgh as a therapy of sorts and let me tell you, it’s therapeutic to me! I encourage everyone to come to the gallery, it’s welcoming and fun and I always find beauty and interest in every exhibit and all the local artwork is great to see every time as it changes all the time!”

“I’m using the computer against the rules in the house as we are a tech free zone. This couch is my lookout to protect my personal artwork collection.  I had to activate my laser ghost spotting vision in this picture due to a nosy camera operator infringing on my personal relaxation time. I have a lot of works of art from Canal Street Art Gallery, as you can see and I always check it out for more.  The only thing they could use is a container of complimentary cat treats but every place needs something to work on. ”

“My government name is none of your business in its glory, but my known name is Princess Pee for obvious reasons.  This wool hideout bed is my favorite spot to view my mom’s artwork collection.  I am happy to say there is lots of art to see in my home, even a special cat height stairwell gallery that is a must see. My brother thinks this house and all the artwork is his, but he is mistaken. The coyote is one of my favorites as he is friendly in pen and ink but outside, not so much..”

Gizzy the Parrot Testimonial

“This is the only testimonial that matters as it is written by a rare parrot about two bird related artworks. My roommate Gail was gifted one of these pieces which was created by Sloan Dawson.  Apparently this wooden mixed media piece is  supposed to show being chained to a stove or something. I think it’s just a bird in a box.  I live in the whole house, so that bird and I don’t get along. Another bird piece is a glass owl from Chris Sherwin.  The owl is alright but needs to eat less, it’s a bit round, in my feathered opinion. Go to the gallery, I go there quite a bit because my roommate Gail has shown her artwork there a few times herself, also bird related pieces. “
