Artist’s Statement
“I am a self taught artist recently deciding to publicly share my artwork. My focus is on painting with watercolor in an effort to capture meaningful landscapes and moments in nature with the hope of connecting to the heart and soul of those who view my work.”

Biography
Lisa Mansfield uses a bright color palette with intense concentrations of pigments in her watercolor paintings of the provincial landscapes, significant cultural buildings, flora, and fauna of her home in Vermont. We are pleased to show work by Mansfield in “Anniversary!”, as she wets her feet once again in her second appearance exhibiting at Canal Street Art Gallery. New work by the artist such as “Surprise!” and “Rockingham Meeting House”, show her continuing focus on using vibrant colors to portray meaningful moments and a heartfelt connection to her subject.
